The goal was to transform a traditional brick-and-mortar business model into a fully functional Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce brand capable of serving customers across India.

THE STORY

Sherlys Attire is a textile business owned by Sherly P Anand, a retired college principal based in Kerala. The goal was to transform a traditional brick-and-mortar business model into a fully functional Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce brand capable of serving customers across India. The client needed a robust digital presence that could compete with larger fashion retailers while maintaining a localized, trustworthy feel.
The client needed a robust digital presence that could compete with larger fashion retailers while maintaining a localized, trustworthy feel. Key challenges included: Digital Onboarding: Moving a physical catalog online with high-quality visuals. Trust & Verification: Establishing business legitimacy (Udyam Registration) to secure payment gateways. Logistics: Automating shipping and payments for a seamless customer experience.

OUR APPROACH

The client needed a robust digital presence that could compete with larger fashion retailers while maintaining a localized, trustworthy feel. One of the biggest hurdles for new e-commerce brands is professional photography. I leveraged Generative AI to create hyper-realistic product mockups. Process: I took flat-lay images of the textiles and used advanced prompting to place the garments on diverse AI models in lifestyle settings. Impact: This eliminated the need for expensive photoshoots while providing high-end, professional imagery that boosts conversion rates. 3. Operational Integration (Payments & Logistics) To ensure the business could operate on autopilot, I integrated the following tech stack: Payment Gateways: Integrated Razorpay and PhonePe, navigating the strict KYC and Udyam Registration compliance requirements to ensure secure, reliable transactions. Shipping Automation: Integrated Delhivery to automate shipping label generation and tracking, allowing the client to fulfill orders without manual courier coordination.

Key Results

Full Digital Transformation: Successfully launched a fully operational store with inventory management, secure payments, and automated shipping.

  • Brand Legitimacy: Established a verified business presence with integrated customer support channels.

  • SEO Optimization: Conducted technical SEO audits to ensure the site ranks for relevant local and niche textile keywords.
